Yesaya 61:7

61:7 Instead of shame, you will get a double portion; ¹ 

instead of humiliation, they will rejoice over the land they receive. ² 

Yes, ³  they will possess a double portion in their land

and experience lasting joy.

Yesaya 66:5

66:5 Hear the word of the Lord,

you who respect what he has to say! ⁴ 

Your countrymen, ⁵  who hate you

and exclude you, supposedly for the sake of my name,

say, “May the Lord be glorified,

then we will witness your joy.” ⁶ 

But they will be put to shame.

Yesaya 66:14

66:14 When you see this, you will be happy, ⁷ 

and you will be revived. ⁸ 

The Lord will reveal his power to his servants

and his anger to his enemies. ⁹
